100th day of school = S U C C E S S

We celebrated the 100th Day of School with many fun activities.  We counted pennies, fuzzy balls, bubble gum, etc.  We jumped for 100 seconds, wrote our name as many times as we could in 100 seconds, wrote about what we would buy with $100.  We had lots of cute 100th day projects and we even had a 100th day chocolate cake.  And, ofcourse, we made our snack bags with 10 different yummy items!  We had a BUSY but FUN day!!  Making memories that will last a lifetime!!  Love my Kinders <3

A little Kindergarten math FUN!!!

Who says that math in Kindergarten can't be fun??  For some reason the boys are the only ones I got pictures of...I think it might be because the girls were in charge!!!  We were finishing up an unit on "The Mitten" and we did a little mitten measurement to see how tall we are with non standard units.  The kids had so much fun!!

2016...Let's make it a year to remember!!

Christmas...It's the most wonderful time of the year!!!

We had so much fun getting ready for Christmas!  We were still busy learning everyday:  reading, writing, math, science and social studies, BUT we put a fun spin on everything incorporating LOTS of Christmas activities.  Learning CAN be fun, if you just plan and decide to make it fun.  We ended our first semester with a BIG Christmas party with lots of goodies, laughs and ofcourse some surprise presents.  These kiddos are so much fun and I can't wait to see how we learn and grow in the second semester!!  Merry Christmas!!
